It wasn’t easy for any of us. We often focused on her failure. She often got angry at our pushing. We all apologized often and forgave quickly. And we learned what it takes to ask for help, and to give it.
This reminds me of how we relate to God

On this Mother’s Day, I thank God for a mom who, with ordinary faithfulness, showed me a wise way to live in relationship to Him and others.

When I awoke, I knew that today was the day. A deadline was looming and this was the only day I had to accomplish the task. I awoke with a sense of resolve. Then I opened my eyes. My mind began a mental rundown of my “to do” list for the next 24 hours and tears began to form in my eyes
