At times, when Jesus enters our life, we find ourselves shaken, uncertain of the implications of His presence in and purpose for us. This is not, in most instances, the best time to be alone. We are created for community. In times of uncertainty and confusion, we benefit from godly counsel and trusted friends.

Let us not forget those young women within our immediate reach, those sitting in our own church pews – or wherever our lives may cross

Little did she know that the Lord had more for her than she could have ever asked or imagined… Scripture records her words of gratitude and praise: “The Lord has done this for me. In these days, he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.” (Luke 1:25)

The gospel was already making an impact! Healing. Life-giving. Affirming. Praise-inducing. Personal.

Many of us are settling back to “normalcy” after an amazing time at Council. My family and I stayed until Monday and I must confess, I was overcome with sadness as I walked through the empty hallways.
