In our walk with the Lord we find ourselves praying to Jesus, I want MORE of you! We are asking to have a deep encounter with Him. This prayer may be arising because we do not know what to do amid difficult times or a crisis when we do not know what to do.

I begged them to let me get my daughter who was sleeping, but I was not allowed. Instead they led me and my children over to another part of the leprosarium and told us to sit down on the ground with the four nurses and wait.
This was the most trying time of my life seeing my husband tied and led off like that, not knowing when we would see him again and not knowing what might happen to Gerry alone in the house!

The life we imagine with Christ is often very different from the reality of our lives lived with Christ. Have you ever journeyed with Jesus from “I am the Lord’s servant” and “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior” to “Why?” That’s OK. Ask the honest questions. Listen for the answers. Jesus is truth. Continue to walk with him. Jesus is present. Jesus will not leave you. He will continue to journey with you.

This is also God’s message to you. He has made YOU unique. Maybe you feel strange. BUT God is the author of the “strange”; He made you the way you are. He made you with your personality and all your quirks. His relationship with you is as unique as you are. He is glorified when you worship Him in the way He built you to worship Him.
