As an auxiliary ministry of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, Alliance Women Ministries exists to be a movement of Great Commission Christian women who are glorifying God by building Christ’s church worldwide.
Alliance Women Ministries promotes the resourcing, training, and equipping of women in the areas of Fellowship, Discipleship, Outreach, Missions and Prayer.
Each year a new "project" is chosen which provides both a spiritual emphasis and practical giving opportunities for the support of the international work of The Alliance. The goal is to challenge women to grow in their faith and to live out that faith through giving, sending, and going. Specific international projects which compliment the theme are presented for giving and prayer opportunities, and tools are provided for areas such as Bible study and outreach.
Alliance Women Ministries is committed to training and encouraging women to be more effective in ministries to others. To accomplish this goal a program of studies, Women's Leadership Studies (WLS), was developed. WLS is a three year course presented by qualified instructors and recognized for college credit through Crown College. Those who complete the studies will receive a certificate from the Church Leadership Academy of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
