National Project 2011-2012
Equipping Nationals to Reach the Nations
"God uses us to spread His knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume. Our offering to God is this: We are the sweet smell of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are being lost." 2 Corinthians 2:14b-15
God calls people to do specific jobs in the Kingdom and He promises in His Word that He will go with us and equip us for every good work. As we go, we are spreading His knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume!
In order to do this effectively, one of the priorities in the Christian and Missionary Alliance today is training national believers so they are better equipped to reach the nations for Christ. The goal is to give our workers the tools and understanding of what needs to happen as they are sent out. Then they will indeed be that sweet-smelling perfume to those who do not know Him.
As you review the projects listed, you will notice that each project is an "equipping ministry" in one of the following areas: 1) Training nationals to be international workers, 2) Training national women in leadership, 3) Providing further educational training and skill sets for existing national pastors.
We believe these projects are vitally important as we endeavor to take the good news to the ends of the earth. As the above verse notes--God uses "US" to do this. God uses people to spread His knowledge everywhere. Therefore you and I need to be vitally involved in the work of the Kingdom.
We invite you to join us in this endeavor. There is an urgency today to get the Gospel to all people as the end is near. Please read over the projects carefully and choose one God puts on your heart. Then as you choose that project to support financially, please add to it your commitment to pray for the implementation of the project and for those who will be trained that God will do a great work in their lives.
Pray that we can be used of God to spread His knowledge to all nations! Thank you for your participation!
Sincerely,
Susan Bernard
