Library in Venezuela!
October 19, 2004
Hi from Venezuela, South America!! Thank you for all of the work you and others there do to promote missions among the women of the Alliance. We are able to serve the Lord more effectively because of your prayer and financial support.
I recently received word from Bill Ramirez, our regional accountant, that Venezuela has received a gift of $8,000, raised as part of the Alliance Womenıs Project 2002-03. We understand that this was designated for use in building our Bible institute library, which our pastors and leaders in training use in their studies and ministries. THANK YOU!!!
We have three study centers where classes are given, and work to maintain a library at each of the sites so our pastors/students have access to these important resources. As new resources are made available, we challenge our students to take advantage of these. In addition, we are working at helping all of our pastors develop a personal library of the basic reference materials that they use constantly in sermon preparation as well as materials for personal growth and ministerial development.
We are excited that with the gift from the Alliance Women, we will have the opportunity to add to our library and continue to challenge our students to keep growing and maturing in Christ. He is building His Church here in Venezuela and you are a part of that work. Again, thank you very much for your sacrificial giving and hard work as you serve Him faithfully. Please communicate our gratitude to the other members of your team, as well as those who serve in each district.
May God continue to guide and bless you as you face the challenges of motivating others to support the work of the C&MA worldwide.
Sincerely in Christ,
Norma Van Dalen,
Interim Director of the Alliance Bible Institute of Venezuela,
South America
